The Family Behind That Mama Magic
Hello, everyone!
If you’ve landed on this page then chances are you have come to learn a little bit more about me. My name is Sara, although I’ve gone by the online name Xyroca for an embarrassingly long amount of time. (I’m talking…NEOPETS long. Anyone remember that?) So if you see anyone call me by that name, and you may see it at my Etsy store, so don’t be too weirded out by it. Mkay?
I am a happily married woman to a wonderfully loving husband that happens to be a truck driver. A stay at home mom to to an amazing little girl that has permanently changed my entire world and reason for living. An artist with a bachelor’s degree sitting in a storage box somewhere, costing me more money to collect dust than I think anyone would care to admit. A self-proclaimed Disney addict. A chocolate fiend. A messy “craft-aholic” and a boarderline hoarder of craft and art supplies. I have a bizarrely large range of music interests, and my favorite movie of all time is Jim Henson’s Labyrinth. I’m an adult that’s not even really sure what adulting is.
First Came Love…

My husband and I the day I graduated college.
When I fell in love with my husband back in 2010, neither of us expected us to be where we are today. My husband is my polar oppositeĀ and from the beginning we have been drawn to each other like magnets. He has taught me patience, that true love sometimes takes work, loving unconditionally, and how to stand up for myself. There is no such thing as a perfect relationship. Yet to this day, there has not been a doubt in my mind that we were meant to be together. Even on the days when we want to pull each others hair out.
He’s been my rock, has supported practically everything I’ve wanted to do, and is always there for me. We have defied all odds against us and continue to choose each other every day. It was just me and him for the rest of our lives, maybe with a bunch of fur-babies in the future. And then the most unexpected surprise came along, our daughter.

Wiggles & Mama
Becoming a mom has entirely changed my world. I went from being someone who swore up and down they wouldn’t have kids to realizing that I can’t even imagine a world without my daughter in it. My daughter, known as Wiggles on my blog, has also taught me so much about myself. I’ve learned how to appreciate little things, and to always look forward and be thankful for the big things. Ultimately, Wiggles has taught me exactly what kind of parent I want to be. She has been the greatest blessing of my life. From watching her, I’ve learned that it doesn’t take much to change your entire outlook on your day.
Then Came That Mama Magic!
I started That Mama Magic to help others know that it doesn’t always have to be a Pinterest perfect life to make your child’s life wonderful and to share what I’ve learned over the years. That Mama Magic is about that ability that all moms (and daddies!) have within themselves. It’s when you toddler comes running up to you, asking you to kiss their boo-boo because they fell down or bumped their elbows. Sometimes it’s when you can make their whole day by giving in to a small special treat. It’s managing bills and pulling miracles out of our butts just to make ends meet. It’s having picnics on the living room floor, whipping up a tasty meal, calming a tantrum before it starts with one look, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
We all have that kind of magic deep within us, sometimes you just have to learn to let that inner magic shine!
